Meet the Chef

Waldorf Astoria Park City welcomes Executive Chef Hermann Schaefer to Powder. Chef Hermann was previously the Executive Chef and Director of Food and Beverage at Hilton San Diego Resort and Spa before joining us in the mountains. Hailing from Austria, Chef grew up working and living on the site of his family’s restaurant and winery. The family operation has grown into the largest organic fruit juice company in Europe, still owned and operated by the Schaefer family.

In-Room Dining

Waldorf Astoria New York was the world’s first hotel to offer room service, and we continue the legacy by serving exquisite in-room dining anytime, day or night.

Delight in the comfort and convenience of fine dining in the privacy of your spacious guest room or suite. Menu selections contain outstanding gourmet specialties including featured entrees from our celebrated restaurant, Powder. Please dial extension 5669 from your in-suite phone.
